HLB International is a fast growing, dynamic network of independent
professional accounting firms and business advisers. Formed in 1969, HLB
International is a world-wide network of independent professional
accounting firms and business advisers. The network comprises member
firms in over 100 countries who, collectively, hav over 1,700 partners
with 14,000 staff in 450 offices.
HLBI focuses on quality and personal service. Quality is the key driving force, reinforced by regular quality assurance reviews of all member firms, an up-to-date ISA compliance international audit manual and membership of external professional bodies focused on quality issues. Personal services is enshined in our "Global Care" approach to client business.
The initials 'HLB' derive from the names of three early members of the group. Through mergers, all three names have disappeared, and in 1990, Hodgson Landau Brands became 'HLB International'. HLBI now stands for "Helping Local Business Internationally".
